If the machine needs an employee every minute, maybe it is not actually self-checkout. If it keeps happening under normal use, the process itself needs attention. I even compared with similar services and this one still handles it worse. The issue compounds quietly until normal tasks feel heavier than they should. The fix is not complicated: keep context, name an owner, and stop forcing restarts.
